知识翻译学视角下醴陵陶瓷术语英译研究

Research on the English Translation of Liling Porcelain Term from the Perspective of Transknowletology

摘要: 醴陵陶瓷作为中国传统手工艺的瑰宝，其术语的英译对于陶瓷文化的国际传播至关重要。本研究基于知识翻译学理论，运用真善美原则，剖析醴陵陶瓷术语英译现状及问题，并提出优化策略。研究发现，当前英译存在真实性、伦理性、审美性等方面的问题，通过修正陶瓷专业术语、采用“文化补偿”翻译法和优化译文文体格式等策略，能有效提升翻译质量，推动醴陵陶瓷文化的国际化传播。

Abstract: Liling porcelains, as a treasure of traditional Chinese handicrafts, the English translation of its terms is of vital importance for the international dissemination of porcelain culture. Based on the theory of Transknowletology, this study, by applying the principle of truth, goodness and beauty, analyzes the current situation and problems of the English translation of Liling porcelain term and proposes optimization strategies. The research finds that there are problems in terms of authenticity, ethics and aesthetics in the current translations. By constructing a terminology knowledge database, adopting the “cultural compensation” translation method and optimizing the style and format of the translations, the quality of translation can be effectively improved, promoting the internationalization of Liling porcelain culture.
