人教版英语新教材跨文化教学设计——以七年级Unit 5 Here and Now为例
Intercultural Teaching Design in the New PEP English Textbook—A Case Study of Unit 5 Here and Now (Grade 7)
摘要: 《义务教育英语课程标准(2022年版)》明确提出,教师应通过英语教学引导学生理解多元文化,对比文化异同,汲取文化精华,最终形成跨文化交际能力。同时,教师需创新教学手段,优化教学路径,以有效促进学生这一能力的发展。跨文化交际能力涵盖多重维度,包括理解不同文化语境中的语言表达、根据交际情境选择恰当策略,以及尊重文化差异的包容态度。本文以人教版七年级下册Unit 5 Here and Now的教学实践为例,探究如何在初中英语课堂中系统性培养学生的跨文化交际能力。
Abstract: “The Compulsory Education English Curriculum Standards (2022 Edition)” explicitly emphasizes that teachers should guide students to understand multicultural perspectives, compare cultural differences, and draw upon cultural essence through English teaching, ultimately fostering their intercultural communicative competence. Meanwhile, educators need to innovate teaching methodologies and refine instructional approaches to effectively enhance this competence. Intercultural communicative competence encompasses multiple dimensions, including understanding linguistic expressions in diverse cultural contexts, employing appropriate communication strategies based on situational demands, and demonstrating an inclusive attitude towards cultural differences. Taking the teaching practice of Unit 5 Here and Now (PEP Grade 7, Book 2) as a case study, this paper explores systematic approaches to cultivating students’ intercultural communicative competence in junior high school English classrooms.
