知识翻译学视角下《活着》译者的“隐身”和“显形”探究

Analysis of Translators’ “Invisibility” and “Visibility” in Translating “To Live” from the Perspective of Transknowletology

摘要: 本研究以知识翻译学理论为视角，以译者的主体性为切入点，对白睿文(Michael Berry)翻译的中国文学《活着》进行分析，旨在探究译者在翻译过程中，如何通过译者在语言层面艺术再创造的能力，弱化译者的“存在感”，或译者适当“显形”，使原作风格尽可能完整保留，传达原文本的文化知识。本文通过具体案例分析，揭示了知识翻译学视角下译者作为知识接受者、重构者与传播者的多重身份，及其在跨文化交流中的重要作用，为知识翻译学发展提供了新的研究视角。

Abstract: From the perspective of Transknowletology, this study analyzes Michael Berry’s translation of To Live, taking translator’s subjectivity as the entry point. It aims to explore how the translator, through his artistic recreation at the linguistic level, either weakens his own “presence” or allows himself to be appropriately “visible”, so as to preserve the original style as completely as possible and convey the cultural knowledge of the source text. Through specific case analyses, this paper reveals the translator’s multiple identities as a knowledge recipient, reconstructor, and disseminator from the perspective of Transknowletology, as well as his crucial role in intercultural communication. Consequently, it offers a new research perspective for the development of Transknowletology.
