目的论视角下文化负载词在影视翻译中的应用——以电影《哪吒之魔童降世》为例
The Application of Culturally Loaded Words in Film and Television Translation from the Perspective of Teleology—A Case Study of the Film “Ne Zha: Birth of the Demon Child”
摘要: 推动中华优秀传统文化“走出去”和增强文化自信是我国重要的政策,近年来,优秀的影视文化作品向海外传播成为推动这项政策的重要途径,而影视作品中含有较多的充满民族特色和文化背景的文化负载词,而对于译者来说,翻译好这些文化负载词是推动跨文化交际的基础和重点。本文以电影《哪吒之魔童降世》为例,基于翻译目的论视角,从电影中文化负载词出发,探讨其中使用的翻译方法,对存在的误译现象做出更正。并对其中因为宗教文化、语言文化、社会习俗造成的不可译现象进行分析,并提出相应的解决策略,以期为之后的影视作品翻译提供有益借鉴。
Abstract: Promoting the “going out” of excellent traditional Chinese culture and enhancing cultural confidence is an important policy in our country. In recent years, the dissemination of outstanding film and television cultural works overseas has become a significant way to advance this policy. These film and television works contain many culturally loaded words rich in national characteristics and cultural backgrounds. For translators, effectively translating these culturally loaded words is the foundation and focus of promoting cross-cultural communication. This article takes the movie “Ne Zha: Birth of the Demon Child” as an example, exploring the translation methods used from the perspective of teleology, starting from the culturally loaded words in the film. It corrects existing mistranslations and analyzes untranslatable phenomena caused by religious culture, linguistic culture, and social customs, proposing corresponding solutions in hopes of providing useful references for the translation of future film and television works.
