交际翻译和语义翻译理论视角下森舸澜《论语》英译本中文化负载词翻译研究

A Study on the Translation of Culture-Loaded Words in Edward Slingerland’s Confucious Analects from the Perspective of Communicative Translation and Semantic Translation Theories

摘要: 本论文聚焦森舸澜《论语》英译本，从交际翻译和语义翻译理论视角出发，通过文献分析与案例研究，分析该译本中文化负载词的英译策略。研究表明，两种翻译理论的有机结合有效促进了《论语》文化内涵的传播，为典籍外译中文化负载词的翻译提供了可资借鉴的范例，对推动儒家文化的国际传播具有重要意义。

Abstract: This thesis focuses on Edward Slingerland’s work: Confucious Analects, analyzing the English translation strategies for culture-loaded words in this translation from the perspectives of communicative translation and semantic translation theories through literature analysis and case studies. The study shows that the organic combination of the two translation theories effectively promotes the dissemination of the cultural connotations of Confucious Analects, provides a reference example for the translation of culture-loaded words in the external translation of classical works, and is of great significance for promoting the international dissemination of Confucian culture.
