Abstract: This article explores the profound influence of the digital economy on the development of e-commerce. Research indicates that the rise of the digital economy has created a brand-new development environment for e-commerce, promoting business model innovation, changes in consumer behavior, and reconfiguration of the industrial ecosystem. By analyzing the application of key technologies in the digital economy, such as big data, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing, this article reveals how the digital economy enhances the efficiency of e-commerce, optimizes user experience, and expands market boundaries. At the same time, the article also discusses the challenges faced by e-commerce in the context of the digital economy, such as data security, privacy protection, and digital divide issues, and proposes corresponding counter measures and suggestions.
