对比视角下人教版新旧教材文化呈现研究

摘要: 2024年秋季新教材蕴含人文文化特色,融合国际文化和中华优秀传统文化,为培养全球文化视野、树立文化自信提供培育的沃土。在新教材的使用背景下对新旧教材文化呈现内容进行对比,以Kachru的同轴圈理论和Moran的文化形式分类为驱动,体察两版教材中文化元素的迁移和渗透,并在《义务教育英语课程标准(2022年版)》的指引下观察新教材中文化呈现板块的特点,从文化信息源、文化内容渗透方式和文化呈现方式三个维度来分析如何发挥新教材中文化知识的价值。结果显示新教材中文化多样性显著增加,在以文化实践和文化产品为主的渗透方式基础上新增文化社群,有关中华文化的呈现出现爆发式增长。
Abstract: The new textbooks published in autumn of 2024 bear humanistic and cultural characteristics, blending international cultures with fine traditional Chinese culture, thereby providing fertilizer for nurturing a global cultural perspective and fostering cultural confidence. Echoing the application of new textbooks, a comparative analysis of cultural representation between the old and new edition was conducted. Driven by Kachru’s Concentric Circles Theory and Moran’s taxonomy of cultural forms, this study examined the approaches of cultural elements to transferring and infiltrating across the two sets, while observing the features of cultural modules in the new textbooks under the guidance of the Compulsory Education English Curriculum Standards (2022 Edition). The analysis focused on three dimensions—cultural information sources, infiltration methods of cultural content, and modes of cultural representation, to explore how to leverage the value of cultural knowledge in the new textbooks. Findings reveal a significant increase in cultural diversity within the new editions, which introduce cultural communities as a new infiltration approach alongside the emphasis on cultural practices and products. Additionally, it has shown the trend of offering more chances to display Chinese culture as its cultural representation has experienced an explosive growth.
