The Forms and Types of the Tense Category in Uyghur

摘要: 维吾尔语动词时范畴主要用于表达动作或事件发生的时间，无关动作或时间的内部过程，可以独立表达确定的时间信息。各版本语法书中对维吾尔语时的表现形式的描写有相同、重合的地方，如对一般过去时、曾经过去时、连续过去时、反复过去时、当时过去时的定义、描写大体相同，但同时也有许多差异。所以本文尝试从结构方面对维吾尔语的“时”的形式与类型进行描写。

Abstract: The tense category of Uyghur verbs is primarily used to express the time when actions or events occur, and they can independently convey specific time information without referring to internal processes related to actions or time. Various versions of grammar books describe the forms of tenses in Uyghur with similarities and overlaps, such as the definitions and descriptions of simple past tense, past perfect tense, continuous past tense, repeated past tense, and present perfect tense, which are largely similar. However, there are also many differences. Therefore, this paper attempts to describe the forms and types of “tense” in Uyghur from a structural perspective.
