目的论三原则在电影字幕翻译中的体现——以《寻梦环游记》为例

The Embodiment of the Three Principles of Skopos Theory in Movie Subtitle Translation—Taking Coco as an Example

摘要: 电影字幕翻译是实现影片跨文化传播的关键环节，需兼顾文化差异与受众理解。本文以德国功能派目的论三原则为理论基础，选取2017年皮克斯动画电影《寻梦环游记》的字幕翻译为研究对象，通过具体案例分析目的原则、连贯原则和忠实原则在其中的应用，以期为电影字幕的英汉翻译提供参考。

Abstract: Movie subtitle translation is the key link to realize the cross-cultural communication of the film, which needs to take into account the cultural differences and audience understanding. This paper takes the three principles of Skopos Theory within the German Functionalist School as the theoretical basis, selects the subtitle translation of Pixar’s 2017 animated film Coco as the research object, and analyzes the application of the Skopos rule, coherence rule, and fidelity rule through specific cases. The aim is to provide references for the English-Chinese translation of film subtitles.
