English Translation and Dissemination of Guangxi’s Traditional Zhuang Brocade Craft

摘要: 传统技艺是英译传播研究中的重要一环，在洞悉英译传播本质的过程中，译文及术语的有效发挥是关键探究之处，其中，如何把握英译传播对传统技艺流传有重要作用。以广西传统技艺为视角，探讨壮族织锦在英译行为和传播实践过程中的人文建构及技艺传播，尤其是考察壮锦的史料起源、原料技艺、制作工艺英译实践，对于新时代背景下加强传统技艺的国际传播、构建非遗话语体系、提高英译传播艺术、深化广西传统技艺叙事的跨文明叙事体系构建，在地性转译机制探索与分众化传播策略实施，对于提升非遗对外话语体系的文化通感力与传播穿透效能，具有深远的学理价值、应用价值和时代价值。

Abstract: Traditional craftsmanship constitutes a pivotal element in translation and dissemination research. To comprehend the essence of translation transmission, the effective deployment of translated texts and terminology emerges as a critical focus—particularly regarding how such translation and dissemination practices shape the perpetuation of traditional crafts. Examining Guangxi’s traditional craftsmanship through the lens of Zhuang brocade, this study explores the humanistic constructs and artisanal transmission embedded within its translation practices and dissemination mechanisms. Specifically, it investigates: historical origins documented in Zhuang brocade archives, material selection and technical artistry, translation methodologies for artisanal processes. Such scholarly inquiry holds profound significance in the contemporary era for strengthening international dissemination of traditional craftsmanship, constructing discourse systems for intangible cultural heritage (ICH), elevating the artistry of cross-cultural translation, deepening the cross-civilizational narrative framework of Guangxi’s artisanal traditions. Developing locality-sensitive transcreation mechanisms, Implementing demographic-tailored dissemination strategies. Ultimately, this advances the cultural resonance and penetrative efficacy of ICH’s global discourse system—carrying substantive theoretical, practical, and contemporary value.
