从主述结构到嵌套结构：汉语流水句英译句法转换路径建构研究

From Topic-Comment Structure to Embedding Structure: A Study on Constructing Syntactic Transformation Paths in Translating Chinese Run-On Sentences into English

摘要: 主述结构与流水句是汉语语篇的两大特点。目前，有关“主述结构”与“流水句”相关研究较为丰富，但“主述结构流水句”作为整体及其英译句法转换研究有所欠缺，导致主述结构流水句英译缺乏理论指导。本文围绕英汉句群主语–主题机制、语义关系连接、信息推进方式等方面差异进行对比，提出“金字塔式图式结构模型”，探讨主述结构流水句英译转换路径。

Abstract: The Topic-Comment structure and the run-on sentence are two of the major features of Chinese discourses. At present, there are abundant researches on “Topic-Comment structure” and “run-on sentence” individually, but there is a lack of research on “Topic-Comment run-on sentence” and its syntactic transformation in English translation, which leads to a lack of theoretical guidance for the English translation of it. This paper compares the differences in subject-topic mechanism, semantic relation connection and information advancement pattern between English and Chinese sentence clusters, and puts forward the “Pyramid Schematic Structure Model” to explore the conversion path for the English translation of Chinese run-on sentences.
