基于翻转课堂的大学英语泛读课程教学改革与成效
Teaching Reform and Results of College English Extensive Reading Course Based on the Flipped Classroom Model
摘要: 随着全球化的不断深入,英语作为国际交流的主要语言,其重要性日益凸显。英文经典阅读不仅是语言学习的重要组成部分,也是文化理解和跨文化交流的关键。本文旨在探讨和总结在翻译专业本科英语泛读课程教学中的创新成果,通过教学实践和理论研究,找出传统英语泛读课程的弊端,提出有效的教学策略和方法,以提高学生的英语阅读能力、文化素养和批判性思维,为大学英语泛读课程的教学设计提供新的思路。
Abstract: With the continuous deepening of globalization, English, as the primary language of international communication, has become increasingly important. Reading classic English literature is not only an essential part of language learning but also a key element in cultural understanding and cross-cultural communication. This study aims to explore and summarize the innovative achievements in the teaching of English extensive reading courses for translation majors at the undergraduate level. Through teaching practice and theoretical research, it identifies the drawbacks of traditional English extensive reading courses and proposes effective teaching strategies and methods to improve students’ English reading ability, cultural literacy, and critical thinking skills, thereby providing new perspectives for the design of college English extensive reading courses.
