The Role and Development Strategies of the Insurance Industry in Guangxi’s Elderly Care System

摘要: 随着我国人口老龄化加速，养老问题已成为影响社会经济发展的重大挑战。广西是全国老龄化程度较高的地区之一，养老需求快速增长与服务供给不足之间的矛盾日益突出。本文在分析广西养老产业发展现状与问题的基础上，探讨保险业在其中的定位与发展策略，旨在为构建多层次养老保障体系、推动“保险 + 养老”模式发展提供理论支持和实践参考。

Abstract: With the accelerating aging of the population in China, elderly care has become a major challenge affecting socio-economic development. As one of the regions with a high degree of aging, Guangxi faces a growing contradiction between the rapid increase in elderly care demand and the insufficient supply of services. Based on an analysis of the current status and existing problems in Guangxi’s elderly care industry, this paper explores the role and development strategies of the insurance industry within this context. It aims to provide theoretical support and practical references for building a multi-level elderly care security system and promoting the development of the “insurance + elderly care” model.
