交际翻译理论视角下新疆地区的文旅外宣文本翻译研究
A Study on the Translation of Cultural Tourism Promotional Texts in Xinjiang from the Perspective of Communicative Translation Theory
摘要: 在文旅融合的时代浪潮下,新疆地区的文旅外宣文本翻译成为了“讲好新疆故事”的关键环节。针对现有翻译实践中,理论应用碎片化和文化特异性研究不足问题,本研究以交际翻译理论和文本类型理论为理论框架,通过结合自身语言基础以及文献阅读与检索,分析新疆官方文旅外宣平台的三类文本的翻译策略。研究发现,针对信息型文本,在翻译实践中应通过术语归化、功能对等、句法压缩与符号化以及零翻译与本土化,有效克服语言结构差异,精准传递了核心信息。表达型文本翻译的关键在于实现文化传真与审美等效。对于呼唤型文本,则通过语义升级、祈使句感召、形容词意境渲染、并列结构等手法,实现情感激发与行动召唤。为此,提出了深化目标受众研究、拓展多模态文本研究和探索技术赋能,三个未来研究重点供译者参考,为中国文化对外传播贡献绵薄之力。
Abstract: Amidst the trend of cultural and tourism integration, the translation of cultural tourism promotional texts for Xinjiang has become a crucial link in “telling Xinjiang’s stories well.” Addressing the current issues of fragmented theoretical application and insufficient research on cultural specificity in translation practice, this study employs Communicative Translation Theory and Text Typology Theory as its framework. By leveraging the authors’ linguistic expertise, literature review, and search, it analyzes the translation strategies for three types of texts sourced from Xinjiang’s official cultural tourism promotion platforms. The findings reveal that for informative texts, strategies such as terminology domestication, functional equivalence, syntactic compression and symbolization, and zero translation with localization effectively overcome linguistic structural differences and accurately convey core information. The key to translating expressive texts lies in achieving cultural fidelity and aesthetic equivalence. For vocative texts, techniques including semantic upgrading, imperative sentence invocation, evocative adjective rendering, and parallel structures successfully realize emotional engagement and call-to-action. Consequently, this study proposes three future research priorities for translators’ reference: deepening target audience research, expanding multimodal text studies, and exploring technology-enabled translation. It aims to contribute modestly to the international dissemination of Chinese culture.
