关于雅思写作首段词汇丰富度的研究与影响探讨
Research and Exploration on the Impact of Lexical Richness in the Opening Paragraph of IELTS Writing
摘要: 本文对27篇雅思写作大作文的词汇进行了定量与定性研究，依托语料分析工具，分析考生作文首段内容与全篇内容的词汇丰富度及雅思写作评分标准定义的“词汇丰富度”单项分数之间的关系。通过对比3个不同话题下的考生首段写作内容，分析其不同分数段的词汇表达使用情况，探讨词汇变化度对分数的影响，以及对未来雅思写作备考及教学提供一些建议。
Abstract: This paper conducts a quantitative and qualitative study on the vocabulary used in 27 IELTS writing Task 2 essays. Using corpus analysis tools, it examines the relationship between lexical richness in the introductory paragraphs and the overall essays, and how this correlates with the “Lexical Resource” scores in IELTS writing. By comparing the introductory sections of essays across three different topics and various score bands, the study analyzes vocabulary usage patterns and their impact on scoring. Finally, it offers suggestions for future IELTS writing preparation and teaching.
