A Study of Domestic Audiovisual Subtitle Translation Based on CiteSpace (2005~2024)

摘要: 本研究基于CiteSpace工具对2005~2024年国内457篇影视字幕翻译期刊文献的可视化分析，揭示了该领域研究热点与学科演进的特征。技术驱动特征显著，2008年在线视频平台兴起推动研究从“语言技巧”转向“多模态适配”，2015年后AI技术催生“人机协作”议题，2020年后研究重心进一步转向“文化价值建构”；学科分布失衡，外国语言文学占比大，凸显语言学根基的同时，暴露出影视美学、媒介传播等关联理论的供给不足；研究热点从早期的“归化/异化”“功能对等”等翻译方法和策略，逐步延伸至理论创新，并向“AI伦理”“多模态适配”等前沿领域拓展。未来需构建“语言–艺术–技术–文化”协同创新的跨学科体系，以应对流媒体传播、技术革新及全球文化竞争的挑战，推动影视翻译研究从“被动适应”向“主动引领”升级。

Abstract: This study, based on a visual analysis of 457 journal articles on film and television subtitle translation in China from 2005 to 2024 using CiteSpace, reveals the characteristics of research hotspots and disciplinary evolution in this field. First, technological drivers play a prominent role. The rise of online video platforms in 2008 propelled research from “linguistic techniques” toward “multimodal adaptation”; the emergence of AI technology after 2015 gave birth to topics like “human-machine collaboration”; and since 2020, the focus has further shifted to “cultural value construction”. Second, there is an imbalance in disciplinary distribution. Foreign language and literature accounts for a large proportion of the research, highlighting its linguistic foundation while exposing the insufficient supply of related theoretical frameworks, such as film aesthetics and media communication. Third, research hotspots have evolved from early translation strategies like “domestication/foreignization” and “functional equivalence” to theoretical innovations, and further extended to cutting-edge areas like “AI ethics” and “multimodal adaptation”. Looking ahead, it is necessary to construct an interdisciplinary system with collaborative innovation spanning “language-art-technology-culture” to address challenges from streaming media communication, technological innovation, and global cultural competition, thereby promoting the transformation of film and television subtitle translation research from “passive adaptation” to “proactive leadership”.
