翻译目的论视角下博物馆文本英译策略研究——以赣州福寿沟博物馆为例

Research on English Translation Strategies for Museum Texts from the Perspective of Skopos Theory—A Case Study of the Ganzhou Fushougou Museum

摘要: 本研究以翻译目的论为理论框架，深入剖析赣州福寿沟博物馆汉英展览文本的翻译实践，着重探究跨文化语境下展览信息有效传播的实现路径。通过对目的论的目的性原则、连贯性原则与忠实性原则的分析，揭示展览文本的翻译不仅需要精准传达原文信息，更要充分考量译文在目标文化环境中的实际功能，以及目标受众的理解能力。研究发现，遵循目的论指导的翻译策略，能够显著增强展览文本在国际传播中的可接受度，有效提升传播效能，为推动博物馆展览的国际化发展提供重要参考。

Abstract: This study uses Skopos Theory as its theoretical framework to analyze Chinese-English translation practices in exhibition texts at the Ganzhou Fushougou Museum, focusing on effective cross-cultural dissemination strategies. By examining the skopos, coherence, and fidelity principles of Skopos Theory, it reveals that museum text translation must not only convey source information accurately but also prioritize the functional purpose of the target text within its cultural context and the target audience’s comprehension. The research demonstrates that Skopos-guided strategies significantly enhance the international acceptability and communicative efficacy of exhibition texts, providing critical insights for advancing the globalization of museum exhibitions.
