情境式教学在混凝土结构设计原理课程中的实践探索——以绪论为例
Practical Application of Situation-Based Teaching in the Course of Concrete Structure Design Principle—Taking the Introduction as an Example
摘要: 以混凝土结构设计原理课程中的绪论为例,介绍了情境式教学的具体实践方法。相比于传统灌输式教学方法,情境式教学法使学生想象自身处于混凝土刚刚研发出来的时代背景下,针对如何提升混凝土抗弯承载力和延性的问题,思考为何选用钢材而非其他材料、钢筋表面形状有何要求、钢筋布置在哪里、钢筋布置多少等。通过上述问题的思考,不仅有助于加深知识的理解,还有助于提升学生思维能力和解决问题的能力,为日后创新性地解决科研或工作中的问题奠定有益基础。
Abstract: Taking the introduction section in the course of concrete structure design principle as an example, the practical application of situation-based teaching is illustrated. In comparison to the conventional lecture-based teaching method, the situation-based method places students under the historical context when concrete was recently developed. Focusing on how to improve the bending capacity and ductility of concrete, the following questions are discussed: Why select steel rather than other materials? Are there any requirements on the surface of reinforcement? Where and how much should reinforcement be placed? By reflecting on these questions, students not only gained a deeper understanding of knowledge, but also benefited from an improvement in critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, which places a beneficial foundation for innovatively addressing problems in future research or professional work.
