从“记录”到“对话”:刘湘晨纪录片的创作路径与转向分析
From “Documentation” to “Dialogue”: Analyzing the Creative Trajectory and Shifts in Liu Xiangchen’s Documentary Practice
摘要: 纪录片导演刘湘晨的创作生涯,以其对新疆题材的长期关注为核心。通过将其创作分为早期“文化记录者”、中期“文化参与者”与晚期“表达协商者”三个阶段,本文分析了刘湘晨在影像风格、叙事策略和拍摄伦理上的演进。研究发现,刘湘晨的实践体现了中国当代民族志纪录片从“旁观记录”向“主体间对话”的深刻转变。他的个案不仅为理解边疆文化表征提供了重要样本,也对未来纪录片如何以更具反思性的方式介入现实,提供了宝贵的实践启示。
Abstract: The creative trajectory of documentary filmmaker Liu Xiangchen is defined by his sustained engagement with Xinjiang as a primary subject. By periodizing his oeuvre into three distinct phases—initially as a “cultural documentarian”, subsequently as a “cultural participant”, and ultimately as a “discourse negotiator”—this analysis scrutinizes the evolution of his cinematographic style, narrative strategies, and filming ethics. The investigation reveals that Liu’s praxis embodies a paradigmatic shift within contemporary Chinese ethnographic documentary practice: a transition from detached observation toward intersubjective dialogue. His case constitutes a significant paradigm for comprehending cultural representation in frontier regions, while providing critical practical insights regarding how future documentaries may intervene in reality through heightened reflexivity.
