功能对等视角下财经新闻英语复合句的翻译策略探析——以《经济学人》为例
A Functional Equivalence Perspective on the Translation Strategies of Compound Sentences in Financial News English—A Case Study of The Economist
摘要: 本研究以功能对等理论为框架，探讨英语财经新闻中复合句的汉译策略。通过分析《经济学人》典型案例，提出在语义、结构和语篇层面具体运用包孕法、切断法与重组法等策略，以平衡专业性与可读性。研究期望能为相关领域研究提供些许借鉴。
Abstract: This study, based on the functional equivalence theory, explores the translation strategies of English compound sentences in financial news into Chinese. By analyzing typical cases from The Economist, it proposes the specific application of strategies such as embedding, segmentation, and restructuring at the semantic, structural, and discourse levels to balance professionalism and readability. The study aims to offer some reference for future research in related fields.
