Abstract: This study aims to systematically review the mechanism of action, clinical practice and effects of music therapy and electroacupuncture, either alone or in combination, in the psychological intervention of anxiety and depression in women with ovulatory dysfunction infertility. By integrating relevant literature, including clinical efficacy observations and mechanism exploration, the study focuses on analyzing the synergistic value of the two in improving psychological state and assisting reproductive function. The research findings indicate that music therapy regulates emotions through multiple physiological and psychological pathways, while electroacupuncture exerts its effects through the neuro-endocrine-reproductive multi-system regulation. The combination of the two can synergistically improve the anxiety and depression status of patients through “central-peripheral” dual regulation, and increase the ovulation rate and pregnancy rate. The conclusion suggests that the combination of music therapy and electroacupuncture provides a feasible non-pharmacological approach for the psychological intervention of anxiety and depression in women with ovulatory dysfunction infertility. Further optimization of research design is needed in the future to clarify the mechanism.
