《新疆图志》介评

Review of “Xinjiang Tuzhi”

摘要: 《新疆图志》是清代晚期史学研究的重要成果。该志书由王树枏主持编纂，其内容广博、体例完备，集中体现了清代新疆方志编纂的最高成就。现存《新疆图志》版本系统较为复杂，包括稿本、抄本、刻本等多个版本形态，学界的研究主要围绕《新疆图志》整体和部分分志。该志书最突出的特点在于其“略古详今”的编纂原则和内容上的广征博采，这使其具有独特的史料价值，备受后世学者推崇。然而，由于成书时间仓促，志书中也存在不足之处，主要表现为史实讹误和内容重复的问题。这些缺陷虽然在一定程度上影响了志书的学术价值，但无损其作为清代新疆历史地理研究基础文献的重要地位。

Abstract: The “Xinjiang Tuzhi” is an important result of historical research in the late Qing Dynasty. This chronicle was compiled under the supervision of Wang Shujian, and its content is extensive and its format is complete, reflecting the highest achievement of compiling Xinjiang local chronicles in the Qing Dynasty. The existing version system of the “Xinjiang Tuzhi” is relatively complex, including multiple versions such as manuscript, copy, and engraving. Academic research mainly focuses on the overall and partial sections of the “Xinjiang Tuzhi”. The most prominent feature of this chronicle is its compilation principle of “summarizing the past and detailing the present” and its extensive collection of content, which gives it unique historical value and is highly praised by later scholars. However, due to the rushed completion time, there are also shortcomings in the chronicles, mainly manifested as errors in historical facts and repetitive content. Although these defects have to some extent affected the academic value of Zhishu, they do not diminish its important position as a fundamental document for the study of historical geography in Xinjiang during the Qing Dynasty.
