Treatment of Pediatric Insomnia in Cold Regions Based on the Theory of “Stomach Disharmony Leading to Restless Sleep”

摘要: 小儿不寐作为儿科常见病证,以经常不能获得正常睡眠为主要特征,严重影响了小儿的身心健康。针对寒地低温、光照、供暖三重环境致病特点结合小儿的生理特性,系统论述了寒地小儿不寐从脾胃论治的理论依据,彰显“胃不和则卧不安”这一经典理论在寒地诊疗中的独特价值。临床诊疗中,应着重从“胃不和”入手,以和胃安神为核心治法。本文立足寒地环境致病特点,将“胃不和则卧不安”理论创新应用于小儿不寐的诊疗,为寒地小儿不寐的临床干预提供了从脾胃论治的新路径。
Abstract: Insomnia in children is a common pediatric disease, characterized mainly by the frequent inability to obtain normal sleep, which seriously affects the physical and mental health of children. In view of the pathogenic characteristics of the triple environment of low temperature, lighting, and heating in cold regions, and combined with the physiological characteristics of children, this article systematically expounds the theoretical basis for treating children’s insomnia in cold regions from the perspective of the spleen and stomach, highlighting the unique value of the classic theory of “stomach disharmony leading to restless sleep” in diagnosis and treatment in cold regions. In clinical diagnosis and treatment, emphasis should be placed on starting from “stomach disharmony”, with the method of harmonizing stomach to tranquilize mind as the core therapeutic method. Based on the pathogenic characteristics of the environment in cold regions, this article innovatively applies the theory of “stomach disharmony leading to restless sleep” to the diagnosis and treatment of children’s insomnia, providing a new path for the clinical intervention of children’s insomnia in cold regions by treating from the spleen and stomach.
