美国双语教育的是非之争及其启示意义
Debates on the Right or Wrong of American Bilingual Education and Its Provoking Implications

摘要: 双语教育是多民族、多语言国家实施的一种教育模式,它的出现及成效一直存在是与非的争议。进入新世纪,由于受到全球经济一体化的影响,双语教育越来越受到中国学者的关注和重视,已经成为当前外语教育改革的一个重要内容。基于现有文献资料,本文客观阐述了美国双语教育产生的背景和曲折发展历史,分析探讨了美国历史上有关双语教育之争。由于美国双语教育走过的路并不平坦,本研究对我国少数民族双语教育的发展和政策制定具有一定的启示作用。
Abstract: Due to the influence of global economic integration, in recent years bilingual education has attracted more and more attention, and become one of the important contents of the present foreign language education. Therefore, based on the current literature and documents, this study provides an objective description of the emergence and tortuous development history of American bilingual education, and analyzes the debates on bilingual education in American history. Since American bilingual education has experienced ups and downs, this study will bring some implications for the development and policy-making of ethnic bilingual education in our country.
