《孔乙己》英译本中文化负载词的翻译
Translation Strategies of Culture-Loaded Words in the English Translation of Kong Yiji
摘要: 讲好中国故事是当代社会主流，而中国故事中必然包含着许多中国社会所特有的文化。因此，在翻译过程中文化因素至关重要。鲁迅小说的一大特色就是含有大量的文化负载词，因此，本文以杨宪益和戴乃迭(Gladys Yang)翻译的《孔乙己》英译本为例，通过梳理其中的文化负载词英译策略，以期为文化负载词的翻译提供借鉴并更好地推动中国文化走出去。
Abstract: In contemporary society, the mainstream is to tell Chinese stories well. And there are many cultural factors in them. Therefore, culture plays an important role in translating. The frequent use of culture-loaded words has constituted one of the crucial features of Lu Xun’s stories. Taking the English version of Kong Yiji translated by Yang Xianyi and Gladys Yang as a case, this article discusses the strategy for translating culture-loaded words, which is of significance in improving translation practice of culture-loaded words and sharing Chinese culture with other countries.
