大学英语专业跨文化能力培养的任务型教学设计研究
A Study on Task-Based Teaching Design for Cultivating Intercultural Competence in College English Majors
摘要: 在全球化进程不断加快的背景下,跨文化交际能力已成为大学英语专业人才核心素养的重要组成部分。本文以跨文化交际能力(Intercultural Communicative Competence, ICC)培养为目标,基于任务型教学法(Task-Based Language Teaching, TBLT)的理论框架,探讨如何在大学英语专业课堂中通过任务设计实现语言技能与跨文化素养的双重提升。文章首先梳理了国内外ICC与TBLT研究的现状与发展趋势,结合我国大学英语专业的学情分析,提出以真实性、互动性和反思性为原则的任务型教学设计理念。随后,通过两个教学案例——跨文化商务会议模拟与跨文化节日推广项目——具体呈现了任务的实施过程与评价方式。研究结果表明,任务型教学不仅有助于提升学生的语言运用能力,还能有效促进其跨文化知识、态度和策略能力的发展。最后,本文针对当前跨文化任务型教学在时间、评价及教师素养等方面的不足,提出了可行的改进建议,以期为大学英语专业教学改革提供参考。
Abstract: With the acceleration of globalization, intercultural communicative competence (ICC) has become an essential component of the core competencies for English majors. Guided by the theoretical framework of Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT), this paper aims to explore how to enhance both language skills and intercultural competence in English-major classrooms through well-designed tasks. The study first reviews the current status and development trends of ICC and TBLT research in China and abroad, and analyzes the learning situation of English majors in Chinese universities. Based on the principles of authenticity, interactivity, and reflection, the paper proposes a conceptual framework for TBLT-oriented intercultural teaching. Two teaching cases—Simulated Cross-Cultural Business Meeting and Cross-Cultural Festival Promotion Project—are presented to demonstrate the implementation process and assessment methods. The findings indicate that TBLT not only improves students’ language proficiency, but also effectively develops their intercultural knowledge, attitudes, and strategic competence. Finally, the paper identifies existing challenges such as time constraints, assessment limitations, and variations in teachers’ intercultural literacy, and provides practical suggestions for improvement, with a view to contributing to the reform of English-major education in China.
