Unlocking the Potential and Proposing Pathways for the “Time Bank” Mutual Aid Elderly Care Model Based on Survey Analysis

摘要: 随着全球老龄化进程加速，传统养老模式面临资源短缺和代际矛盾等挑战，“时间银行”作为一种创新的社区互助养老模式，通过“服务存储–兑换”机制，为应对老龄化问题提供了新思路。本文基于问卷调查数据，从用户特征、认知与参与意愿、需求偏好及发展障碍等方面，系统分析了“时间银行”的现状与潜力。研究发现，尽管公众对“时间银行”的认知有限，但其潜在需求较高，用户更倾向于实用性服务回报，同时对平台信任度和服务标准化存在担忧。研究结果还指出，供需不对等、运营模式不成熟等问题是当前发展的主要瓶颈。结合国际经验，本文提出通过完善制度设计、引入智能技术以及探索多元化合作模式等策略，以推动“时间银行”的可持续发展，使其成为养老服务体系的重要补充。

Abstract: As the global aging process accelerates, traditional elderly care models face challenges such as resource shortages and intergenerational conflicts. The “Time Bank”, as an innovative community-based mutual aid elderly care model, offers a new approach to addressing aging issues through its “service deposit-exchange” mechanism. Based on questionnaire survey data, this paper systematically analyzes the current situation and potential of the “Time Bank” from aspects such as user characteristics, awareness and participation willingness, demand preferences, and development obstacles. The study finds that although public awareness of the “Time Bank” is limited, its potential demand is high. Users prefer practical service returns while simultaneously expressing concerns about platform trustworthiness and service standardization. The results also indicate that issues such as supply-demand imbalance and immature operational models are the main bottlenecks for current development. Drawing on international experience, this paper proposes strategies such as improving institutional design, introducing intelligent technology, and exploring diversified cooperation models to promote the sustainable development of the “Time Bank” and make it an important supplement to the elderly care service system.
