基于核心素养理念下语境教学法在初中英语词汇教学中的应用
The Application of Contextual Teaching Method in Junior High School EnglishVocabulary Teaching Based on the Concept of Core Competencies
摘要: 在核心素养教育背景下,初中英语词汇教学亟需创新。文章探讨语境教学法在初中英语词汇教学中的应用,分析核心素养与语境教学法的内涵及关联,针对当前词汇教学中缺乏语境创设、忽视文化内涵等问题,提出创设语言语境、构建情境语境、融入文化语境等应用策略,并结合具体教学案例展示实施过程与效果。这种方法将词汇学习与综合素养发展结合,使词汇教学从“记单词”转向“用语言”,更符合初中阶段英语学习的本质目标。为初中英语词汇教学提供新思路,对推动核心素养落地具有实践指导意义。
Abstract: Under the framework of core competency education, there is an urgent need for innovation in junior high school English vocabulary instruction. This paper explores the application of contextual teaching methods in vocabulary education, analyzes the connotations and connections between core competencies and contextual pedagogy. Addressing current issues in vocabulary teaching such as insufficient context creation and neglect of cultural elements, the study proposes practical strategies including establishing linguistic contexts, constructing situational contexts, and integrating cultural contexts. Concrete teaching cases demonstrate the implementation process and outcomes. This approach combines vocabulary learning with comprehensive competency development, shifting vocabulary instruction from “memorizing words” to “using language,” aligning more closely with the essential objectives of junior high school English education. It provides a new idea for the English vocabulary teaching in junior middle school and has practical guiding significance for promoting the implementation of core literacy.
