融合问题链的高中英语5E阅读教学设计研究——以“The Night the Earth Didn’t Sleep”为例
A Study on the Design of 5E Reading Instruction in Senior High School English of Integrating Question Chains—Taking “The Night the Earth Didn’t Sleep” as an Example
摘要: 近年来,高考改革后,学生的英语阅读能力成为英语教学中的重点,但如今英语阅读活动单一化、问题设计过于浅层化。这些问题不仅制约了学生语言水平与思维品质的培养,也不利于学生发展学习能力。因此,本文基于5E教学模式,探究了将问题链引入高中英语“The Night The Earth Didn’t Sleep”阅读课的设计与实践,在吸引,探索,解释,迁移和评价环节结合导入型、展开型以及拓展型问题链,以期培养学生思维能力,推动高中英语阅读教学的创新。
Abstract: In recent years, following the reform of the college entrance examination, students’ English reading ability has become a focal point in English teaching. However, current English reading activities often suffer from monotony and superficial question design. These issues not only constrain the cultivation of students’ language proficiency and thinking quality but are also detrimental to the development of their learning capacity. Therefore, based on the 5E instructional model, this study explores the design and practice of integrating question chains into the reading instruction of “The Night the Earth Didn’t Sleep” for senior high school English. By incorporating introductory, developmental, and expansive question chains into the Engagement, Exploration, Explanation, Elaboration, and Evaluation phases, the study aims to foster students’ thinking skills and promote innovation in senior high school English reading teaching.
