创作式学习视角下英语文化短视频的跨文化交流价值探索
Exploration of the Cross-Cultural Communication Value of English Cultural Short Videos from the Perspective of Creative Learning
摘要: 随着数字媒介技术的迅猛发展,短视频已成为跨文化传播的新兴主力军。本文从“创作式学习”的理论视角出发,以中国社交媒体平台上由用户创作的英语文化短视频为研究对象,探讨其在新媒介语境下所蕴含的跨文化交流价值。论文首先梳理了创作式学习与跨文化交流的理论内涵,进而分析英语文化短视频在内容生产、传播模式与受众接受上的特征。研究认为,此类短视频以其创作主体的多元化、内容叙事的具身化、传播过程的互动性,有效地打破了传统跨文化交流中的刻板印象与权力结构,构建了一种“具身参与”式的文化理解新模式。它们不仅是语言学习的工具,更是文化认同建构、文化差异协商的实践场域,为全球化时代的跨文化交流提供了平民化、情感化和高效化的新路径。最后,本文也对其面临的挑战进行了反思,并展望了其未来的发展路径。
Abstract: With the rapid development of digital media technology, short videos have become a new main force in cross-cultural communication. From the theoretical perspective of “creative learning”, this article takes English cultural short videos created by users on Chinese social media platforms as the research object, and explores their cross-cultural communication value in the context of new media. First, the paper sorts out the theoretical connotations of creative learning and cross-cultural communication, and then analyzes the characteristics of English cultural short videos in terms of content production, communication mode and audience acceptance. The study holds that, with the diversification of their creators, the embodiment of content narration and the interactivity of the communication process, such short videos effectively break the stereotypes and power structures in traditional cross-cultural communication, and construct a new “embodied participation” mode of cultural understanding. They are not only tools for language learning, but also practical fields for cultural identity construction and cultural difference negotiation, providing a civilian-oriented, emotional and efficient new path for cross-cultural communication in the era of globalization. Finally, the paper also reflects on the challenges it faces and looks forward to its future development path.
