“The Collapse and Reconstruction of the Garden”: A Study on Screenshot Communication and User Media Behavior

摘要: 深度媒介化时代，截屏传播作为一种与线上社交相生相随的重要媒介使用行为日益介入到人们的社交生活中，但与之相伴的却是受众线上“后花园”的消失。本文就截屏传播现象展开深度访谈及线上截图内容分析，以截屏的新作用和用户与此媒介行为相关的抵抗为主要研究对象，探究截屏传播背后的数字记忆机理与抵抗机制。从情境崩溃等理论角度探索截屏传播新作用下的影响，发掘人技关系的动态变化，试图寻找重建电子“后花园”的良方。

Abstract: In the era of deep mediatization, screenshot communication, as a significant media behavior that coexists with online social interaction, is increasingly becoming involved in people’s social lives. However, this phenomenon is accompanied by the disappearance of users’ online “back gardens.” This paper conducts in-depth interviews and online screenshot content analysis to examine the screenshot phenomenon, focusing primarily on the new roles of screenshots and user resistance related to this media behavior. It explores the underlying mechanisms of digital memory and resistance in screenshot communication. From theoretical perspectives such as situational breakdown, the study investigates the impacts of screenshot communication’s new roles, reveals the dynamic changes in human-technology relationships, and attempts to find effective strategies for reconstructing the electronic “back garden.”
