基于顺句驱动原则的英汉视译策略研究
A Study on Sight Translation Strategies from English to Chinese Based on the Principle of Syntactic Linearity
摘要: 视译被看作是同传的基础课程，视译训练需要结合自身的特点，为同传服务。由于英汉两种语言在句法结构上的巨大差异，译员在视译中需采用一些技巧来确保译文效果。顺句驱动是视译中最为重要的一种策略。本文通过从不同角度探讨和分析顺句驱动的形成原因，梳理其指导下的英汉视译技巧，从而对视译教学及实践提供一些思路。
Abstract: Sight translation is considered a foundational course for simultaneous interpretation. Training in sight translation should leverage its distinct characteristics to serve the purpose of simultaneous interpretation. Given the significant differences in syntactic structures between English and Chinese, interpreters need to employ specific techniques in sight translation to ensure the quality of the output. Syntactic linearity stands as one of the most crucial strategies in this process. By exploring and analyzing the rationale behind syntactic linearity from various perspectives, this study organizes the sight translation techniques from English to Chinese guided by this principle, aiming to offer insights for both sight translation pedagogy and practice.
