Cultural Models of Conceptual Metaphor: A Subcultural Perspective from Food Metaphors

摘要: 隐喻是人类认知机制的核心组成部分。食物作为人们的生活基础，常被用作源域来构建隐喻，以表达抽象概念和情感体验。本文基于概念隐喻理论，从体验哲学视角出发，结合相关作品，通过分析汉文化圈内不同的食物隐喻现象，探讨文化模式如何通过身体经验来塑造食物隐喻的生成与阐释，并进一步揭示文化认知与隐喻表达的互动关系。

Abstract: Metaphor serves as a fundamental component of human cognitive mechanisms. Food, being essential to human life, is frequently employed as a source domain to construct metaphors for expressing abstract concepts and emotional experiences. Based on Conceptual Metaphor Theory and from the perspective of embodied philosophy, this paper analyzes diverse food metaphor phenomena within the Chinese cultural sphere through related literary works. It explores how cultural models, mediated by bodily experience, shape the generation and interpretation of food metaphors, and further reveals the interactive relationship between cultural cognition and metaphorical expression.
