地名“乐陵”之“乐”特殊读音探析

Analysis of the Special Pronunciation of “Lao” in the Place Name “Laoling”

摘要: 地名是语言词汇中特殊的现象，地名不仅承载着文化内涵，还多以口语的形式由当地人世代相传。地名读音从古至今的演变相对稳定，也由此产生了一系列不同于现代汉语的特殊地名读音。本文以山东省乐陵市为例，结合乐陵的历史沿革、命名理据以及“乐”字的词义语音演变及冀鲁官话区“乐”字的方言发音对乐陵市地名中“乐”的特殊读音进行分析，探究地名特殊读音所体现的文白异读现象，挖掘特殊地名读音的文化价值。

Abstract: Place names are a special phenomenon in language vocabulary. They not only carry the cultural connotation, but also are handed down by the local people in oral form. The evolution of the pronunciation of place names from ancient times to the present is relatively stable, and a series of special pronunciations of place names different from modern Chinese are produced. Taking Laoling City in Shandong province as an example, this paper analyzes the special pronunciation of “Lao” in the place names of Laoling based on its historical evolution, naming motivation, the semantic and phonetic evolution of the character “Lao” and the dialect pronunciation of the character “Lao” in the official dialect of Jilu, probes into the phenomenon of literary and colloquial pronunciation embodied in the special pronunciation of place names, and excavates the cultural value of the pronunciation of special place names.
