新工科理工类通识教育课程体系构建与实践——以《大数据导论》为例
Construction and Practice of the General Education Curriculum System for New Engineering in Science and Engineering—A Case Study of “Introduction to Big Data”
摘要: 为响应新工科建设对跨学科人才培养的需求,重庆邮电大学数据科学与大数据技术专业针对理工类通识课程《大数据导论》存在的教学内容忽视学生基础,实践教学环节难以设置,教学内容难以满足学生需求,考核方式难以反映学生能力等问题,以对齐学生基础,适配专业需求,强化实践教学,精准量化考核为目标,构建了线上补休,线下精讲,实践赋能,多维评价的课程体系。通过整合补休资源,革新教学内容,开发实践项目,优化考核机制,最新修订的《大数据导论》课程2024年教学大纲落地实践,实现了课程目标达成度与学生参与度双提升。研究表明,该课程体系可有效培养学生问题分析,研究,使用现代工具的能力,缓解通识课程与专业需求脱节难题,为新工科通识教育提供可复现的实践范式。
Abstract: To respond to the demand for interdisciplinary talent cultivation in the construction of New Engineering, the major of “Data Science and Big Data Technology” at Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications has addressed the issues existing in the science and engineering general education course “Introduction to Big Data”, such as the teaching content ignoring students’ foundational knowledge, difficulties in designing practical teaching sessions, teaching content failing to meet students’ needs, and assessment methods being unable to reflect students’ abilities. With the goals of aligning with students’ foundational levels, adapting to professional needs, strengthening practical teaching, and realizing accurate quantitative assessment, the university has built a curriculum system featuring online supplementary learning, offline intensive lectures, practical empowerment, and multi-dimensional evaluation. By integrating compensatory leave resources, innovating teaching content, developing practical projects, and optimizing the assessment mechanism, the newly revised 2024 Teaching Syllabus for the course “Introduction to Big Data” has been put into practice, achieving a dual improvement in both the accomplishment of course objectives and student participation. Research shows that this curriculum system can effectively cultivate students’ abilities in problem analysis, research, and the use of modern tools, alleviate the problem of disconnection between general education courses and professional needs, and provide a reproducible practical model for New Engineering general education.
