摘要: 本文聚焦医学英语隐喻语义构建的应用研究，深入探讨其在医学英语实践多场景中的积极作用。基于跨文化交际理论，研究揭示医学英语隐喻通过源域与目标域的动态映射实现语义构建，其文化适配性显著影响信息传递效果。实证分析表明，隐喻在医学翻译中可破解术语的文化壁垒、提升译文的可接受性；在医患沟通中能增强情感共鸣、优化决策参与；在学术论文写作与传播中可强化论证逻辑、扩大国际影响力；在医疗政策话语中能凝聚共识、推动政策落地。可见，医学英语隐喻语义构建凭借其独特的认知与文化机制，在医学实践的多元话语场景中均发挥着不可或缺的桥梁与催化作用，有力促进了医学知识的跨文化传播与有效应用。

Abstract: This paper centers on the application research of semantic construction of metaphors in medical English, delving into its positive roles across multiple scenarios in medical English practice. Grounded in intercultural communication theory, the study reveals that medical English metaphors achieve semantic construction through the dynamic mapping between source domains and target domains, with their cultural adaptability significantly influencing information transmission effectiveness. Empirical analysis demonstrates that metaphors can break down cultural barriers of medical terminology and enhance the acceptability of translated texts in medical translation; foster emotional resonance and optimize decision-making participation in doctor-patient communication; strengthen argumentative logic and expand international influence in academic paper writing and dissemination; and build consensus and facilitate policy implementation in medical policy discourse. Evidently, the semantic construction of medical English metaphors, leveraging its unique cognitive and cultural mechanisms, plays an indispensable bridging and catalytic role across diverse discourse scenarios in medical practice, effectively promoting cross-cultural dissemination and practical application of medical knowledge.
