Abstract: Intracranial aneurysms, as a common and potentially highly dangerous cerebrovascular condition in the field of neurosurgery, have seen continuous advancements in treatment strategies alongside progress in medical technology. Among them, wide-neck bifurcation aneurysms (WNBAs), due to their unique anatomical location and morphological characteristics, have become a key and challenging focus in treatment. Traditional treatment methods for such aneurysms include microsurgical clipping and endovascular embolization, both of which have certain limitations. In recent years, a novel endovascular device—the eCLIPs (endovascular clip system)—has demonstrated significant advantages in the treatment of WNBAs due to its unique design concept and dual therapeutic mechanism. This article aims to review the efficacy and prognosis of the eCLIPs device in the treatment of intracranial aneurysms, providing a reference for its clinical application.
