基于接受理论浅析《大路之歌》译本——以赵罗蕤、李野光译本为例
A Brief Analysis of Translations of Song of the Open Road Based on Reception Theory—Taking the Translations by Luorui Zhao and Yeguang Li as Examples
摘要: 美国诗人惠特曼的《草叶集》不仅揭开了美国诗坛的新纪元,也对我国诗歌文学的发展产生了深远的影响,而《大路之歌》又是《草叶集》中较具有代表性的一首诗,全诗共十五节。笔者将以接受理论为基础,从空白与未定性出发对赵罗蕤和李野光的译本进行赏析。两译本都在形式和内容上尽可能完美地展现了原诗的艺术特色,能明显看出赵罗蕤与李野光都在翻译过程中付出了许多心血,具有很大的研究价值。希望能在解读源文本的同时,充分剖析挖掘译者的翻译结果,力求厘清其翻译风格与卓越之处。
Abstract: Walt Whitman’s Leaves of Grass not only ushered in a new era in American poetry, but also profoundly influenced the development of Chinese poetic literature. Among its poems, Song of the Open Road stands as a particularly representative work, comprising fifteen stanzas in total. This essay will analyze the translations by Luorui Zhao and Yeguang Li based on reception theory, focusing on the concepts of blankness and indeterminacy. Both translations strive to perfectly capture the artistic essence of the original poem in both form and content. It is evident that Luorui Zhao and Yeguang Li invested considerable effort in their translations, making them highly valuable for scholarly research. This study aims to interpret the source text while thoroughly examining the translators’ results, seeking to clarify their translation styles and outstanding achievements.
