基于TransWai平台的英汉字幕翻译译后编辑研究
Research on Post-Editing of English-Chinese Subtitle Translation Based on TransWai Platform
摘要: 随着机器翻译的不断发展，人机辅助翻译日益成为翻译界的普遍趋势。本文以TransWai平台为基础，选用TED演讲中有关自然、环境、科技、语言、教育等方面的10段视频在平台上进行视频字幕翻译，参考原音视频字幕进行探讨研究，并对译文进行人工分析。总结出TransWai平台在英汉字幕翻译中存在的词汇、句法、逻辑、其他方面的问题，并且4类问题出现的频率依次减少。针对以上4类问题，笔者都进行了详细案例分析，并提出了译后编辑在词汇、句法、逻辑、其他方面的相应解决措施。通过本论文的研究，可以更加深入地理解TransWai平台在英汉字幕翻译中的作用，为提高翻译质量和效率提供理论支持和实践指导，也为促进跨文化交流与传播提供支撑。
Abstract: With the continuous development of machine translation, human-machine assisted translation has become a common trend in the translation field. Based on the TransWai platform, this paper selects 10 video clips from TED talks about nature, environment, science and technology, language, education and other aspects for video subtitle translation on the platform, discusses and studies the original audio and video subtitle, and conducts manual analysis of the translation. The problems of vocabulary, syntax, logic and other aspects of TransWai platform in English-Chinese subtitle translation are summarized, and the frequency of these four kinds of problems is reduced in turn. In view of the above four kinds of problems, the author makes a detailed case analysis, and puts forward the corresponding solutions in vocabulary, syntax, logic and other aspects of post-editing. Through the research of this paper, we can further understand the role of TransWai platform in English-Chinese subtitle translation, provide theoretical support and practical guidance for improving translation quality and efficiency, and also provide support for promoting cross-cultural communication and communication.
