摘要: 随着中国综合国力提升,高等教育国际化水平显著提高,中国文化的影响力与日俱增,吸引越来越多的来华留学生将中国作为留学目的地。来华留学生的到来,为中国社会增添多元文化色彩,为不同文明搭建起沟通交流的桥梁。但机遇与挑战并存,近一段时间以来“学伴项目”“留学生酗酒袭警”“中国学生为留学生腾退宿舍”等负面事件频发,整个社会舆论对高校现存的留学生管理模式口诛笔伐,使得高校改革来华留学生管理模式势在必行。来华留学教育是我国高等教育事业的重要组成部分,在开展留学生教育进程中,要坚决破除这样一种对留学生进行特殊的、区别化管理的固有思维模式,要给予来华留学生同等国民待遇,实行与中国学生趋同化的管理策略。本文聚焦于中国某所地方高校,深入剖析其来华留学生趋同化管理的具体实践路径,期望通过这一研究,能够达成中外学生在教育管理与服务等方面的动态平衡,进而全面提升高校来华留学生的教育质量,推动我国来华留学教育事业迈向更高水平。
Abstract: With the enhancement of China’s comprehensive national strength, the internationalization level of higher education has significantly improved, and the influence of Chinese culture has been growing day by day, attracting an increasing number of international students to choose China as their study destination. The arrival of these international students has added a touch of multicultural diversity to Chinese society and built a bridge for communication and exchange among different civilizations. However, opportunities and challenges coexist. Recently, negative incidents such as the “study buddy program”, “international students’ drunken assault on police”, and “Chinese students vacating dormitories for international students” have occurred frequently. The entire public opinion has been fiercely criticizing the existing management model for international students in universities, making it imperative for universities to reform their management models for international students. International student education is an important component of China’s higher education endeavors. In the process of providing education to international students, it is crucial to resolutely abandon the ingrained mindset of implementing special and differentiated management for international students. Instead, international students should be granted equal national treatment, and a management strategy that aligns with that of Chinese students (a convergent management approach) should be adopted. This paper focuses on a certain local university in China, conducting an in-depth analysis of its specific practical paths for implementing convergent management of international students. It is hoped that through this research, a dynamic balance can be achieved in terms of educational management and services between Chinese and international students, thereby comprehensively enhancing the educational quality of international students in universities and propelling China’s international student education endeavors to a higher level.
