Application of the Production-Oriented Approach in High School English Listening and Speaking Teaching—A Case Study of Unit 1 “Teenage Life”

摘要: 以人教版(2019年)高中《英语》必修一Unit 1“Teenage Life: Listening and Speaking”的教学设计为例，探讨产出导向法(POA)在解决高中英语听说教学中“学用分离”问题的实践路径。研究表明，POA通过“驱动–促成–评价”三阶段闭环设计，能有效激活学生语言产出动机，促进输入向输出的转化，为发展学生英语核心素养提供可操作框架。

Abstract: Taking the teaching design for Unit 1 “Teenage Life: Listening and Speaking” in the People’s Education Press (2019 edition) high school English Compulsory Module 1 as a case study, this paper explores the practical application of the Produce-Oriented Approach (POA) in addressing the “disconnect between learning and application” in high school English listening and speaking teaching. Research indicates that through its three-phase cyclical design of “Motivating-Enabling-Assessing”, POA effectively activates students’ motivation for language production, promotes the conversion from input to output, and provides an operational framework for developing students’ core English literacy.
