指向文化意识培养的初中英语阅读教学探究
Exploration of Junior High School English Reading Teaching Focused on Cultivating Cultural Awareness
摘要: 根据《义务教育英语课程标准(2022年版)》,英语课程的根本任务在于落实立德树人,聚焦学生核心素养的发展,具体涵盖语言能力、文化意识、思维品质和学习能力四个维度。其中,文化意识具有重要的价值引领功能,是实现英语学科育人目标的核心要素。在初中英语阅读教学中加强文化意识的渗透,不仅能够拓展教学内容的广度与深度,也有利于促进核心素养各组成部分在阅读过程中的有机整合与协同发展。然而,当前教学实践中仍普遍存在侧重语言知识传授而忽视文化意识培养的倾向,不少教师未能充分挖掘语篇所蕴含的文化价值与思维逻辑,导致教学呈现碎片化与表层化特征。基于此,文章依据新课标理念,在梳理现实问题的基础上,探析初中英语阅读教学中培养学生文化意识的具体实施路径,以期为优化教学实践提供借鉴。
Abstract: According to the “English Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education (2022 Edition)”, the fundamental task of English education is to cultivate moral character and core competencies, focusing on the development of four dimensions: language proficiency, cultural awareness, critical thinking, and learning abilities. Among these, cultural awareness plays a crucial role in guiding values and is a core element in achieving the educational objectives of the English discipline. Strengthening the integration of cultural awareness in junior high school English reading instruction not only broadens the scope and depth of teaching content but also promotes the organic integration and synergistic development of all components of core competencies during the reading process. However, current teaching practices often emphasize the transmission of linguistic knowledge while neglecting the cultivation of cultural awareness. Many teachers fail to fully explore the cultural values and logical reasoning embedded in texts, resulting in fragmented and superficial teaching. Based on these issues, this paper adheres to the principles of the new curriculum standards, identifies practical challenges, and explores specific strategies for fostering students’ cultural awareness in junior high school English reading instruction, aiming to provide insights for optimizing teaching practices.
