语料库文体学视阈下《最蓝的眼睛》中意象的多维度探讨
The Multidimensional Exploration of Imagery in The Bluest Eye from the Perspective of Corpus Stylistics
摘要: 对托妮·莫里森《最蓝的眼睛》的意象系统及其文化心理指涉进行了语料库文体学研究,旨在厘清“身体、读本、空间、命名”等意象的结构与功能,并探讨主流审美标准与主体建构的关联机制。通过构建目标库与1965~1975年美国长篇小说参照库,运用AntConc提取关键词丛,并结合KWIC语境开展证据式阐释与文体解读。结果报告“The Maginot Line”“Aunt Jimmy’s”“Play with Jane”“a hotel room”等高关键性语块,构成“身体、读本、空间、命名”的多维意象谱系;叙事层面揭示出主流审美标准在小说人物身上的内化过程及其所带来的心理创伤,文体层面呈现由感官、情感、伦理递进的意义网络。结论指出,语料驱动路径实现意象研究的操作化,形成“宏观模式、微观证据、解释框架”的闭环,为非裔美国文学批评中主流审美标准和主体建构关系提供可验证的文本依据与新的解释路径。
Abstract: This study employs corpus stylistics to examine the imagery system and cultural-psychological references in Toni Morrison’s The Bluest Eye, aiming to clarify the structure and function of imagery such as “body, textbook, space, and naming”, and to explore the mechanisms linking mainstream aesthetic standards and subject construction. By constructing a target text corpus and a reference corpus of American novels (1965~1975), this study employs AntConc to extract key clusters and combines KWIC context analysis for evidence-based interpretation and stylistic analysis. The results show that the key clusters such as “The Maginot Line”, “Aunt Jimmy’s”, “Play with Jane”, and “a hotel room” constitute a multidimensional imagery spectrum of “body, text, space, and naming”. The narration reveals the internalization process of mainstream aesthetic standards in the characters of the novel and the resulting psychological traumas, and the stylistics presents a meaning network progressing from sensory to emotional to ethical. The conclusion notes that the corpus-driven approach operationalizes imagery research, forming a closed-loop framework of “macro patterns - micro evidence - interpretive frameworks”, providing verifiable textual evidence and new interpretive pathways for the relationship between aesthetic discipline and subject construction in African American literary criticism.
