生态翻译学视角下俄剧《叶卡捷琳娜大帝》的字幕翻译研究

A Study of Subtitle Translation for the Russian Drama Catherine the Great from an Ecological Translation Studies Perspective

摘要: 随着全球化的发展，影视作品已成为一种跨文化传播的常见形式，字幕翻译作为桥梁其翻译质量极大地影响着作品的传播效果。生态翻译学从生态学的角度对翻译进行了全新阐释，为跨文化传播研究提供了新的思路与方法。本文引入生态翻译学视角，分析字幕翻译和俄剧《叶卡捷琳娜大帝》第四季字幕的语言特点，分别从语言维、文化维、交际维结合典型案例进行深入分析，探讨如何在保留原作风格和文化特色的同时，更好地适应目标观众的接受习惯和文化背景。

Abstract: With the advancement of globalisation, audiovisual works have become a prevalent form of cross-cultural communication. Subtitle translation, serving as a bridge, significantly influences the dissemination effectiveness of such works through its quality. Ecological translation studies offer a novel interpretation of translation from an ecological perspective, viewing it as an alternating cycle of adaptation and selection by the translator. This provides fresh insights and methodologies for research in cross-cultural communication. This paper adopts an ecological translation studies perspective to analyse the linguistic characteristics of subtitle translation, specifically examining the subtitles for the fourth season of the Russian television series Catherine the Great. Through in-depth analysis across linguistic, cultural, and communicative dimensions, using representative case studies, it explores how to better accommodate the reception habits and cultural backgrounds of target audiences while preserving the original work’s style and cultural distinctiveness.
