Going “Green” in the Digital Transformation: Digital Transformation and Enterprises’ Green Technological Innovation
摘要: 本文基于2013~2023年中国上市公司数据，研究数字化转型对企业绿色技术创新的影响。研究发现，数字化转型显著促进企业绿色技术创新；数字化转型通过增加企业研发投入，进而促进企业绿色技术创新；数字化转型对绿色技术创新的促进作用在重污染行业、非国有企业中更为明显，在不同类型的数字技术中，人工智能技术的驱动效应最强。本文对数字时代下企业数智和绿色协同转型提供参考建议。
Abstract: This paper examines the impact of digital transformation on green technological innovation in Chinese listed companies from 2013 to 2023, based on their data. The research finds that digital transformation significantly promotes enterprises’ green technological innovation, which is achieved by increasing their R&D investment. The promoting effect of digital transformation on green technological innovation is more pronounced in heavily polluting industries and non-state-owned enterprises. Among different types of digital technologies, artificial intelligence technology has the strongest driving effect. This paper provides reference suggestions for the coordinated transformation of digital intelligence and green development of enterprises in the digital era.
