基于主题意义探究的高中英语阅读教学探究——以人教版高中英语必修二Unit 1 Cultural Heritage阅读课为例
An Exploration of High School English Reading Teaching Based on the Analysis of Theme Significance—Taking the Reading Class of Unit 1 “Cultural Heritage” in the High School English Compulsory Course of the People’s Education Edition as an Example
摘要: 在高中英语教学中,阅读教学占据着重要地位,它不仅是学生获取语言知识和信息的主要途径,更是培养学生语言综合运用能力、思维品质和文化意识的关键环节。然而,当前高中英语阅读教学中仍存在一些问题,部分教师过于注重词汇、语法等语言知识的讲解,忽视了对语篇主题意义的深入挖掘,导致学生对文本的理解仅停留在表面,难以形成系统的知识体系和深刻的主题认知,无法有效地培养学生的核心素养。基于此,本文首先分析了主题意义探究的含义,并结合CLIL理论,采用质性研究中的案例研究法,以人教版高中英语必修二Unit 1 Cultural Heritage阅读From problems to solutions的教学为例,从内容、交流、认知、文化维度系统剖析教学各环节,针对案例现存问题提出具体可操作的优化建议,旨在提高教学成效,促进学生核心素养的发展。
Abstract: In high school English teaching, reading instruction holds a significant position. It is not only the primary way for students to acquire language knowledge and information, but also a crucial part for cultivating students’ comprehensive language application skills, thinking quality, and cultural awareness. However, there are still some problems in current high school English reading teaching. Some teachers overly focus on the explanation of language knowledge such as vocabulary and grammar, while neglecting the in-depth exploration of the thematic meaning of the text. As a result, students’ understanding of the text remains superficial and they are unable to form a systematic knowledge system and profound thematic cognition, making it impossible to effectively cultivate students’ core competencies. Based on this, this paper first analyzes the meaning of thematic meaning exploration and, in combination with the CLIL theory, adopts the case study method in qualitative research to take the teaching of Unit 1 “Cultural Heritage” in the second volume of the Chinese textbook for high school English, “From problems to solutions”, as an example. It systematically analyzes each teaching link from the dimensions of content, communication, cognition, and culture, and proposes specific and feasible optimization suggestions for the existing problems in the case, aiming to improve teaching effectiveness and promote the development of students’ core competencies.
