岭南非遗外宣英译的困境与对策研究——以粤剧为例

Research on the Dilemmas and Strategies of English Translation for the International Promotion of Lingnan Intangible Cultural Heritage—A Case Study of Cantonese Opera

摘要: 粤剧作为岭南非遗代表，其英译是中华文化“走出去”的关键一环。本文在生态翻译学理论框架下，以粤剧外宣英译为研究对象，系统探讨了岭南非遗戏曲的翻译策略。从语言、文化、交际三维审视粤剧英译困境，并通过对《金莲戏叔》等剧目译本分析，提出句法重构、文化功能转换等对策。此研究旨在为粤剧及非遗外宣的英译提供新思路，推动其跨文化传播。

Abstract: As a representative of Lingnan intangible cultural heritage, the English translation of Cantonese opera is a crucial component in the international dissemination of Chinese culture. Guided by theoretical framework of Eco-Translatology, this study systematically explores translation strategies for the international promotion of Cantonese Opera. It examines the challenges of Cantonese opera translation through linguistic, cultural, and communicative dimensions. By analyzing translations of plays such as Pan Jinlian Seducing Her Brother-in-law, the study proposes countermeasures including syntactic reconstruction and cultural functional transformation. This study aims to provide new insights for the English translation of Cantonese opera and other intangible cultural heritage for international promotion, facilitating their cross-cultural dissemination.
