概念隐喻记忆的双语研究综述
A Review of Bilingual Studies on Conceptual Metaphor Memory
摘要: 概念隐喻理论自Lakoff与Johnson (1980)提出以来,引起多个学科的重视和研究。本文聚焦于概念隐喻在双语者记忆中的表征与加工,系统梳理了从传统隐喻观到认知隐喻观的理论演进,详述了错误记忆范式在验证概念隐喻心理现实性中的关键作用与实验证据,以及一语和二语隐喻记忆的认知机制差异,如二语隐喻加工中显著的字面义抑制困难与更高的认知负荷。此外,本文还探讨了个体差异(如流体智力)以及隐喻本身的复杂度对隐喻记忆的影响。最后,本文在整合现有研究成果的基础上,指出了当前研究存在的局限,并对未来研究方向,如结合神经科学技术、拓展隐喻类型与跨文化比较研究等,进行了展望。
Abstract: Since the introduction by Lakoff and Johnson (1980), conceptual metaphor theory has attracted great attention and stimulated research across multiple disciplines. This article focuses on the representation and processing of conceptual metaphors in bilingual memory, systematically reviewing the theoretical development from traditional to cognitive perspectives on metaphor. It elaborates on the crucial role of the false memory paradigm (DRM paradigm) and its empirical evidence in verifying the psychological reality of conceptual metaphors, as well as cognitive mechanism differences between first and second language metaphorical memory, such as notable difficulties in suppressing literal meaning and higher cognitive load during second language metaphor processing. Furthermore, the article explores the influence of individual differences (e.g., fluid intelligence) and metaphor complexity on metaphorical memory. Finally, by synthesizing existing research findings, the article identifies current limitations and proposes future research directions, including integrating neuroscience techniques, expanding metaphor types, and conducting cross-cultural comparative studies.
