互动式教学法和传统教学法在托福写作课堂的应用效果对比研究

摘要: 本研究旨在探究互动式教学法在托福写作课堂的应用效果,希望能为托福写作的课堂提供有效的教学建议。本研究对比了2组托福考生在为期一周的集训前后写作成绩和技能的变化,在一周的集训中一共上过3次写作课程,研究者在课程中分别运用了互动式教学法和传统教学法。研究结果显示:考生的托福写作能力在集训前后都有不同程度的提高,但互动式教学法对写作成绩和写作能力的促进效果更大。研究证实了互动式教学法在托福写作的课堂中有显著的促进作用,可以有效培养学习者的批判性思维和逻辑思维能力。
Abstract: This research aims to investigate the effect of the application of interactive teaching methods in TOEFL writing classes, hoping to provide effective teaching suggestions for TOEFL writing teachers. The author used interactive teaching methods and traditional teaching methods in three writing lessons within a week. In the present research, the changes in two groups of candidates’ TOEFL writing scores and skills were compared. Results indicate that while candidates’ writing skills were enhanced, interactive teaching methods’ promoting effect was more significant. This research proves that interactive teaching methods serve as a useful approach to TOEFL writing classes and will effectively enhance students’ skills in critical thinking and logical thinking.
