The Relationship between School Climate, Self-Control, and Life Satisfaction of Children and Adolescents

摘要: 生活满意度是衡量生活质量和幸福感的重要指标,提高生活满意度有助于维护学生的心理健康。本研究采用学校氛围量表、自我控制量表和生活满意度量表对广州市1022名中小学生进行测试,旨在考察学校氛围与生活满意度的关系,以及自我控制的中介作用。结果发现:1) 学校氛围与自我控制、生活满意度呈显著正相关,自我控制和生活满意度呈显著正相关;2) 中介效应分析显示,自我控制在学校氛围与生活满意度的关系中起到显著的中介作用。研究结果对提高儿童青少年自我控制和生活满意度具有重要参考价值。
Abstract: Life satisfaction is an important indicator for measuring the quality of life and happiness, and improving life satisfaction helps maintain students’ mental health. This study used the School Climate Scale, Self Control Scale, and Life Satisfaction Scale to test 1022 primary and secondary school students in Guangzhou, aiming to investigate the relationship between school climate and life satisfaction, as well as the mediating role of self-control. The results showed that: 1) School climate is significantly positively correlated with self-control and life satisfaction, and self-control is significantly positively correlated with life satisfaction; 2) The mediation effect analysis shows that self-control plays a significant mediating role in the relationship between school climate and life satisfaction. The research results have important reference value for improving self-control and life satisfaction of children and adolescents.
